Welcome to the Commercial Division of LampPost Realty^®… I’m Mike Halpern, Founder & CEO. I started LampPost Realty^® in July of 2003 after a bad experience I had selling my home in Wilmington. Initially, we focused on residential real estate brokerage, applying our unique Buyer Rebate (1% cash back at closing on our listings and 0.5% on other firms’ MLS listings) and offering unparalleled service to our buyer clients. We also developed a unique Seller Program, offering commission discounts, agent incentives and our unmatched client service. Our overriding theme is to provide our clients with more and charge less (for buyers, we actually pay you!).

The response to our concept has been fantastic … “Why didn’t someone think of that before” … “I wish I’d known about you before I bought previously” … “Finally, someone is taking a different approach to real estate” … etc.

I began thinking that the same model could and should be applied to commercial real estate brokerage and our Commercial Real Estate Division (LampPost Commercial^®) was launched in June of 2004.
